Gov Fashola Criminalises Those who Impregnates Women and Abandon them.

Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State, yesterday, signed a bill into law, which allows for the prosecution and jailing of any man who impregnates and deserts any woman.
The bill presented to the governor by the state’s Commissioner of Justice and Attorney General, Mr. Ade Ipaye, at Government House, Ikeja, was among  three other bills presented for the governor’s assent.
Other bills include amendments to provisions of the Emergency Management Agency, EMA, Law and the Administration of Criminal Justice.

Fashola, while assenting to the bills, said the various amendments to the laws were needed  to  tackle the problem of crime and delay in administration of justice in the state.

Officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, are in a bit of a logjam over confession of drug use attributed to Nigerian superstar, Mr 2Face Idibia.
Mr Idibia is reported to have confessed to using marijuana in the past, but not anymore as he has since given his life to Christ.
NDLEA agents are now studying their guidelines and Nigerian jurisprudence to determine whether a crime has been committed, whether statutes of limitations applies, and most importantly, whether the confessor can be relied upon as a reliable witness against himself.

Two of Four Private Jet Owned By Bishop Oyedepo For Sale.

On march 26th of this year, Bishop Oyedepo  acquired his fourth private jet which worth around five billion naira. The private jet, a Gulfstream V was declared to the over 10,000 worshippers who thronged Canaaland on Sunday March 27th, by the bishop himself.
The bishop said the new jet will be used exclusively for the ministry’s African Mission.

A 43-year-old Irish Woman has died after having sex with a German Shepherd.

The unnamed woman met with 57-year-old Sean McDonnell on a fetish based website, the pair organised a meet and during the meeting he persuaded the woman to have sex with his dog.
A few hours after the incident, the woman fell sick and was rushed to mid-western regional hospital in Limerick but died later. The cause of her death was allergy based, not dissimilar to the reaction someone may suffer when they have a peanut allergy.
The dog has been detained and placed in quarantine, while McDonnell has been arrested, and could face life in prison, for committing bestiality offenses, and for committing sexual offences to a person under a act formed in 1961.

An angry mob stripped naked two men, Alaba Abiodun and Samuel, who were allegedly eating human flesh.

•The suspected ‘human part eaters’ were arrested by some policemen from Area ‘F’.
However, the suspected cannibals were lucky as the timely arrival of policemen from the Area ‘F’ Police Command, Ikeja, Lagos State, saved them from being set ablaze.
